Synopsis

The series follows the story of Lin Zhiyi, the executive assistant who manages the company while Li Muqian, the CEO of Yunjing, is away on a business trip. During this time, an intern named Shen Manlin falsely claims to be pregnant with Li’s child and poses as the "boss's wife" to bully Lin, even going so far as to destroy a critical contract. Upon his return, Li Muqian orchestrates a plan to expose the ruse, discovering that Shen is actually the mistress of his infertile younger brother. Refusing to accept defeat, Shen attempts a knife attack but is subsequently prosecuted, and Li Muqian and Lin Zhiyi ultimately find happiness together.
