Synopsis

Sun Lu, an elementary school teacher who embodies the ideal of propriety, harbors a rebellious longing to break free from the constraints of her life. An unexpected visit leads her into the world of Chen Xudong, an aquarium shop owner. She initially views him as a "troubled" man with a child; yet, beneath her own dutiful exterior, she recognizes a stubbornness and loneliness that mirror her own. As their prejudices fade and they grow closer amidst the tranquil atmosphere of the aquarium, Sun Lu discovers that this gentle man is hiding a deeply buried past.
